An opportunity exists for an experienced Principal Finance Officer to secure an initial three month contract with one of the largest government departments in Queensland. The contract has a strong possibility of extension.

As the Principal Finance Officer, your key responsibilities will be to lead, develop, implement and refine technical financial policy in areas such as expenditure, liabilities and equity including the review and endorsement of polices developed external to the financial policy team.

To be successful in this role it is imperative you are CPA or CA qualified. You will have advanced report writing skills and the ability to interpret Australian Accounting Standards.
