Payroll Officer

 

  • $30 p/h plus super

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this roles primary responsibility is to prepare and process weekly and fortnightly payroll for up to 4000 employees nationally working from multiple awards.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Maintaining pay records, employee records, leave records and related information
  • Preparing and processing weekly and fortnightly payroll
  • Auditing payroll data
  • Export and import hours worked from our time and attendance system, into the Payroll system
  • Ability to provided backup support to the Time in Attendance Administrator
  • Produce internal and external reports with a high level of accuracy
  • Ensure that general queries are responded to accurately and in a timely manner
  • Other ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned by the Payroll Manager to meet the requirements of the business

As the successful applicant you will have:
  • Strong Excel and computerised payroll system skills
  • A minimum of 5 years payroll experience in the Australian market.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work to tight time frames and be deadline driven
