Are you a CPA with experience in financial accounting within a mining project space, preferably open cut?
Our client is looking for a practised financial accountant to support their Manager, Finance & Commercial on site in the Bowen Basin, regional Qld. This is a senior opportunity with one of Australias top mining contractors and could provide the successful candidate with great potential for career advancement.
This role requires the following expertise within a financial project space:

The ability to ensure all relevant financial and commercial compliance for the project is met;

Maintaining cost control through investigation of all project costs;

Data sourcing and manipulation for collation and development of progress claims and contract valuations;

Budget development;
-
Weekly and monthly cost reports;
-
Completion of all journal entries for month end accruals and reallocations.
This role, within the site/project framework, will provide a dynamic and challenging environment for the right candidate, allowing the opportunity to critically influence the performance of our Clients business.
