MIGAS has the perfect opportunity for you to complete an apprenticeship as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. You will be working full time while completing your Certificate lll in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Road Transport) with a company based in Ormeau.

Your job duties will include:

• servicing of vehicles
• repairs and maintenance
• assisting mechanics with general tasks handling tools, preparation of work environment
• shadowing the tradesperson to gain as much knowledge as possible

As the successful applicant you must have a good attitude, be keen and willing to learn, be mechanically minded and have a passion for the industry.

Over time may be required- Saturday from 7:30am - 12noon (only when required).

A drivers licence and own vehicle is essential as public transport is not available. Junior wages apply.
