An excellent opportunity is available for a Senior Contracts Administrator / Engineer to work on one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource natural gas project in Australia's history!
This is a Perth based position and you will be responsible for:
o Preparation of tender documentation for site developed Contracts
o Arrange for tenders to be called from sub-contractors for site developed project works.
o Arrange negotiations with sub-contractors and negotiation conditions of site developed contracts in conjunction with Client personnel and project management personnel.
o Creation and conforming of contract documentation in accordance with project master documentation and procedures.
o Maintain a register of sub-contractors and liaise with construction personnel to ensure their suitability
o Ensure effective contract administration in conjunction with construction personnel.
o Processing of contract variations, Extension of time claims, progress claims for work completed, attending and minuting of weekly progress meetings and evaluation and recommendation of disputed claims
o Maintaining all incoming contractual correspondence in the document management system.
o Generating and Management of outgoing contractual correspondence in accordance with project procedures.
To succeed in this role you will have 10 years contract administration experience in construction, high level communication and negotiation skills and will have a great eye for detail. You will have a high degree of literacy and a good knowledge of Contract Management Systems and will hold a Degree in an Engineering discipline.
