Our client requires an experienced Bid Manager with a strong construction / building background to join their successful business and manage the entire bid management process. You will be a self starter who has extensive experience in Bid Management. Strong management / people skills are required to help ensure that key personnel work to important deadlines and provide the right input to enable the assimilation of information into a coherent and compliant bid(s). Role and responsibilities: - Determine which sectors, which territories and which projects are the prime targets
- Tender launch / meetings
- Identifying resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Receive and review all tender documentation
- Review deliverables
- Ensure all bids are submitted on time
- Progress - status of current tenders, client's feedback from submitted tenders and recommended actions for improvement of bids
- Maintain and enhance industry relations - clients, suppliers, local government etc
- Enhance team work within the business
Experience, skills and qualifications: - Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings, specifications and basic legal documents
- Solid Bid Management experience
- You must have a high attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong negotiation skills
- You must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualifications
- Strong computer literacy - Office, Project Management and Scheduling software
- WA experience is preferred
- You'll be confident and cool under pressure
- You must have Australian Citizenship or working rights in Australia to be considered for this role
