With large Infrastructure projects underway, one of the world’s largest EPCM organisations is on the search for experienced Contracts Officer for a 3 month contract based in Newcastle

As the Contracts Officer you will be responsible for all stages of contract development, project reviews, execution and ongoing monitoring. The role includes working closely with the Commercial Contracts Manager and advising the Project and Senior Managers in regard to contractor claims, variations and extensions. This role is an initial 3 month contract that may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

•  Demonstrated 3 to 5 years experience in EPCM or the Energy Resources sectors would be highly desirable
• Tertiary Business Qualification
• Contract and negotiation experience
• Strong knowledge of business operations and processes plus have the drive and enthusiasm to work autonomously
• Outstanding communication skills to enable you to present detailed and complex program proposals and reports to executive level management
• On-site or contractors project knowledge and understanding would be highly advantageous for this role
