Based in Mackay, Our Client is a leading provider of logistical support solutions to the Resource and Steel sector.
Currently, we are seeking an Experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Mackay.

The purpose of this role is to establish and maintain a working relationship with the management team and manage the end – to – end recruitment process for blue collar positions.

Demonstrating sound experience of social media, talent sourcing strategy and a preferable background in internal recruitment; you will bring a variety of skills and new ideas to the role.

Further, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills whilst managing internal requirements and candidate expectations in a high volume recruitment role. You will utilise creative sourcing methods and have an innate ability to ‘think outside the square’.

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

• Experience within construction, engineering or mining fields

• Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment for permanent and contractor positions

• Experience in recruiting blue-collar related positions

• Previous experience in talent sourcing strategies


To make this the foundation for your career you will have proven experience in an end – to – end recruitment position; preferably within transport, mining, engineering or other related industry.
Further, you will have proven experience in building strong relationships with a number of different stakeholders and thrive in a high pressure environment. Possessing strong analytical and problem solving skills; you are a born organiser and thrive in a demanding and challenging environment.
Lastly, your attention to detail will be second to none, coupled with a professional approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
