We are currently recruiting on behalf of a life insurer who have a brilliant reputation in the market for providing excellent service to its customers and advisers alike.Due togrowth within the team, they are currently looking for a SeniorLife Underwriter to join the team.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

Underwriting of all risk products
-
Maintaining various portfolios and relationships
-
Mentoring and providing direction to junior underwriters
-
Assessing and accepting of risks with agreed levels of authority
-
Authorizing underwriting decisions
-
Building key relationships
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:
-
Substantial Life Underwriting experience within Australia
-
Current minimum authority limits of: IP $12K, TPD $1.5m, Trauma $1m, Life $3m
-
Experience of retail and / or Group Life policies
-
Strong Analytical skills
-
Ability to relay and explain decisions to Advisers and build long-lasting relationships
-
Relationship management and development skills coupled with strong technical ability
-
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
