Our client is a leading manufacturer of PVC pipes and fittings, supplying the plumbing and construction industries. 

A position currently exists in their machine shop for a Machine Operator.

Candidates must be a Permanent Resident of Australia.

• No programming is involved in this role
• You will be required to operate a CNC Lathe
• Enter the poly material (160mm to 800mm) into the machine
• Start the machine and control the cutting/shaping process
• Remove the excess cut off from machine
• Remove the part from the machine and repeat process
• Other various jobs around the machine shop as required

To be considered you must have:

• Recent machine operation experience
• Good Work ethic
• Steel cap boots
• Licence/own transport essential
• Forklift Licence is advantageous

Candidates must be able to pass a preplacement medical which includes drug and alcohol screening on the day of interview.
