Due to their continued success, a need has arisen for an experienced General Manager to lead their highly successful manufacturing team based in Country NSW. In this highly pivotal, dynamic, fast paced and “hands on” role you will be responsible for: - Managing the day to day operations of the Manufacturing department
- Driving productivity improvements through lean practices
- Liaising with the production, sales and purchasing teams on a daily basis
- Liaising with suppliers to reduce components/complexity
- Reviewing full value stream to improve lead times and costs
- Achieving scheduled completion dates
As the ideal candidate you will possess the following key attributes: - Manufacturing management experience gained from a similar industry involved with the production of fresh food products
- Experience or understanding of HCCAP Compliances
- Excellent people management skills across all levels
- A proven track record in producing productivity improvements that lead to improved lead times and cost savings
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and shop floor employees
- The ability to meet tight schedules
