Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Production Manager who has experience particularly in metal medium complexity fabrication. The role will be to coordinate and control the manufacturing activities of its plant to optimize output, minimize costs and maintain quality standards.
This is a challenging role and your focus will be on -
Operations, Managing and improving the bottom line, Safety, Quality, Production, DIFOT, Customer Service, Inventory Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations and lean manufacturing implementation.
This is a unique opportunity to join this successful company which is part of a larger group which is continually growing and expanding.
You will need to optimize the performance of manufacturing personnel and maintain all operational equipment including plant, cranes and buildings. Your challenge will be to instill Change Management and implement new ideas including Lean Manufacturing.
You will have the scope to change the production methods of this company, implement new methodology, reshape the production lines and reshape your future.
Tertiary qualifications are preferred i.e. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering but we will accept a minimum or 5 years solid experience in -
- Heavy Metal 'medium complexity fabrication' environment.
