Our Client is currently looking to expand its growing team and an opportunity now exists for several experienced Procurement Officers to join their team
The primary objectives of this role are:
- Manage and own the end-to-end procurement process which includes prioritising, purchasing, expediting, goods deliverable and returns
- Ensure that company policies and processes are adhered to and aligning the procurement function to the business
- Ensure full compliance to company quotations, negotiation and contract process
- Maintain stock control register and stock levels
- Purchase project items in line with project priorities and schedule
- Establish and maintaining bill of material for every project
- Source and manage company preferred suppliers and negotiation of competitive terms
- Documentation control including material certificates, operations manual and conformance certificates
- Generating reports as required
Ideally, you will have:
- At least 3-5 years experience working in a similar role
- Good negotiation and inter personal skills required
- Good analytical skills with emphasis on use with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible outlook and ability to deal with change
- Previous experience in a logistics or procurement role
- Exporting experience whilst not a necessity will be highly regarded
