Our high profile Federal Government Department are currently seeking an experienced communications/public affairs account manager to join and lead an external communications team in a 12 month non-ongoing maternity leave contract. As the successful applicant, you will be an Australian Citizen and have the following skills and experience: - Recent and solid experience in an in-house communications, marketing and/or public affairs position at a management level;
- A strong background in developing & implementing marketing & communications strategy;
- A successful track record in staff management;
- Account management experience;
- Excellent project management;
- High level client liaison and stakeholder engagement skills; and
- Second to none written communications.
Please note: relevant tertiary qualifications and prior experience in the Australian Government is preferred. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join a highly sought after government department in a lengthy 12 month non-ongoing EL1/PAO3 position.
