St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) is a self-funded, charitable organisation. Operating in Australia for more than 125 years, today St John is Australias leading first aid training organization. With 3,000 volunteers in NSW alone St John provides first aid at small and large events as well as conducting first aid training for the community and business groups. Another 500 volunteers are committed to helping young children with reading in schools or assisting the NSW Health Department with its school immunisation program.
Job Description
Due to growth of the business and an increased investment in working capital the Supply & Inventory Manager will need to design, recommend and then implement new processes, thus ensuring delivery of product is maintained in the most efficient and cost effective manner. You will be responsible managing and leading warehousing and stock control activities but you will also be required to develop strong relationships with counterparts in Sales, Marketing and Finance as well as external partners
The Successful Applicant
You will need a number of years experience in the supply chain sector with proven success in establishing step change improvement around a supply and inventory process. Experience in managing people as well as influencing cross functional senior management will be desired however you will be expected to be hands on and autonomous in the role. You will promote commitment to change and utilise processes, systems and development of people to ensure success in driving this improvement.
