We are now seeking a General Manager for their Hunter Valley operation who is committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality control in the industry.
The General Manager will oversee the entire meat processing operation to achieve optimal throughput of over 3000 heads of cattle per week. Further, the successful candidate will have full operational management responsibility for a multi-million dollar business and consequently will have senior financial management responsibility, including;

• Prepare, oversee and manage monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets
• Oversee livestock procurement including setting grid and transport prices
• Prepare financial capital expenditure requests and reports
• Prepare monthly management reports

A highly regulated industry, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with EPA and AQIS requirements, and continue to maintain an up to date knowledge of meat processing best practice.

We are seeking a Senior General Manager or Operations Manager from the meat processing industry demonstrating superior leadership skills. The business is underpinned by a very dynamic, forward thinking and collaborative culture as such we are seeking an individual who can demonstrate behaviours associated with success and previous experience managing a large, diverse and multicultural workforce.
