Senior Account Manager - Publishing

One of Sydney's most established and prominent magazine publishers is seeking a new Senior Account Manager. As part of this publishing heavyweight's rapid expansion strategy our client is seeking an individual who can thrive within a fast paced and successful sales environment, whilst building on past experience from day one and effectively manage existing and new accounts for a number of house hold publications.

THE ROLE:

As part of a vibrant and driven team you will strategically manage and reinforce vital and established accounts (70%) as well as developing new business (30%). Existing agency contacts are vital to your success and growth within the position. You will be selling into the magazine print space and will be required to deal directly with agencies and SMEs, whilst massaging and reinforcing relationships and promoting the benefits of working with significant publications whilst meeting sales targets.

YOU:
- Sales Hungry!
- Have a proven and successful history of at least 2 years in sales.
- Experience within and comfortable with pitching and presenting.
- Experience and knowledge within the publishing industry is hugely attractive in regards to this role, although those with a proven track record within TV and radio sales will also be considered.
- The ability to perform effectively and coherently in a high pressure environment, acting as a valuable addition to a successful team.
- Can work productively with agencies and SMEs.
