COMPANY

This well established Melbourne based Trucking company are presently on the lookout for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team selling new Trucks primarily within the Mining, Construction and Agriculture industries.

They pride themselves on their reputation for superior customer service and outstanding product quality within the regions they service. Due to company growth an exciting opportunity has opened up and they are currently searching for a proven, successful sales representative/business development manager to increase rental revenue and continue the successful relationships built with their clients within the always developing Rental market  (based in the Laverton / Gippsland Region)



CANDIDATE

The successful candidates will have one or more of the following attributes:

  • Strong business to business sales experience within the Light, Medium or Heavy trucking sectors.
  • Rental experience and solid industry knowledge of the clients you will be servicing. (councils / mines)
  • Wholesale sales experience (or selling through to similiar channels will be a plus)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Solid work ethic and negotiation skills
  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be Responsible for the following tasks:

  • Maximising opportunities for the development and growth of the company across your designated sectors.
  • Honest, energised and down to earth
  • Promote the sale of new equipment and products
  • Maintaining Database and sales forecasts
  • Proactively seek and implement processes that will support that will support the continued growth of the business sales segment
  • Work in a Trade Assistant role when required

In order to be successful for this role you will also have excellent communication, presentation and and business acumen. You will be self motivated and comfortable with working autonomously as well as in a team.

REWARDS

The Successful candidate will be rewarded with a Base Salary of 40 - 60K (neg for the right experience) + Superannuation + benefits (also negotiable for the right experience) On Target Earnings (OTE's) of $100,000 are well achievable.  You will get the opportunity to work for a leading company who pride themselves in providing quality service, innovative products to their clients and genuine career progression to their employees.
