Fantastic opportunity now available for an experienced Heavy Vehicle/ Plant Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic to join our service team located within the Parramatta area.

You will be responsible for servicing a number of prime movers, tanker trucks, excavators, bobcats, front end loaders, skid steers and plant equipment providing preventative and breakdown maintenance. This role will involve a combination of workshop, off site and field servicing of machinery within the NSW region. The Heavy Vehicle Mechanic position is a very crucial role to the business as it aims to maximize plant utilization in terms of time and cost whilst laying a heavy focus on safety.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic/ Heavy Vehicle/ Plant Mechanic)

• Proven experience in repairing Heavy Vehicle and Plant Equipment

• Good knowledge of mechanics/ hydraulics/ pneumatics/ electrical systems

• Strong commitment towards safe work practices

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Desire to be an effective team player

This role will see you working Monday to Friday with paid OT and will require you to be flexible to work on a rotating night shift roster every 6 weeks to ensure maintenance schedules are being met. Alternate flexible roster options are available for the right candidate!
