Our client based in Orange grove is looking for a maintenance supervisor to work in a workshop based environment for a large Quarry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• This challenging position requires dedication and teamwork to ensure continuous improvement in safety, work practices, plant reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Provide Leadership to the mechanical maintenance team and manage team KPI's
• Effectively conduct maintenance requirements in a safe manner
• Fixed Plant Mechanical Supervisor will manage the maintenance resources at the Quarry
• To ensure that the departmental goals are achieved in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
• Be prepared to do hands on work and housekeeping.

Experience & Requirements:

• Fitter trade qualifications
• Minimum of 3-5 years supervisor experience in a maintenance environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills shown through previous leading roles
• Commitment to teamwork and ability to effect continuous improvement
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• A current valid drivers license
• 2 contactable work references with the last 6 months
