Our client is a leading engineering firm with specialist experience within the construction, defence and infrastructure industries.  
  
The organisation specialises in high end technology aspects of major infrastructure and defence projects including the use of specialised products and equipment varying from resins, cement grouts, high tech reinforcement such as carbon-fibre and many other innovative and specialised products.  
 
Due to company growth they are now on the hunt for 2 x Protective Coating Supervisors to join their highly motivated team.  
 
Reporting to Site Management, key responsibilities include the following: 
 

• Supervison of up to 20 Applicators to ensure jobs are competed on time and to budget;  
  
• Daily liaison with clients as to job specific issues and progress;  
  
• Allocation of daily work activity and staff training;  
  
• Carrying out site specific Job Safety Analysis's;  
  
• Holding daily and weekly tool box meetings and responsibility for site safety of all employees;  
  
• Preparing daily and weekly product and job progress reports for management;  
  
• Q.A and Q.C responsibilities to ensure jobs are completed to standard.  
  

   
 
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills / experience:   
 

• Painting and decorating qualifications and or 5 years industry experience NACE Cert 1;  
  
• Minimum 5 years experience in Protective Coating Application;  
  
• Minimum 2 years experience in Abrasive Blasting;  
  
• Minimum 2 years experience in Spray Painting;  
  
• Experience in Marine Works and or Ship Yard experience desirable;  
  
• Highly motivated in nature with a 'can-do attitude';  
  
• A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
