Our Client; a National Leader within the Transport and Logistics Industry, who provides specialised logistics solutions, is currently seeking experienced MC Drivers to join their growing team.
Casual Ongoing. Wollongong Depot. Training Provided. $25+ p/hr. Local and Interstate Linehaul Runs. Overtime & Night Rates.
IMMEDIATE START FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANT.
All drivers will be required to undergo an on the job and written assessment. Loading of goods onto trucks will be required from time to time.
To be successful within this position, you MUST:
- Hold a current MC Licence
- Have minimum 12 months proven experience within the Transport and Logistics Industry
- Provide a RTA Driving Record Print Out (no older than 3 months)
- Have BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) - not essential, but preferred
- Have previous experience operating pneumatic pressurised equipment - not essential, but preferred
- Have all relevant PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Cap boots / High Visibility Clothing / Safety Glasses (any other required PPE will be provided accordingly)
In return, you will be provided with:
- 2 - 4 weeks on the job training (buddy up system)
- Rotating 8 - 12 Hour shifts
- Day and Night Shifts
All successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
